Serpents deal 25-35 damage per hit and attack in swarms. Without at least 100 HP, healing food, and a weapon dealing 30+ damage, you will pass out and lose 1,000g. Minimum prep: 熔岩武士刀 (25,000g), 10+ Cheese/Salad, 5 楼梯s, and a 尤巴之戒.

Both Solar and 虚空精华 stack to 999 in a single inventory slot. Start collecting them as soon as you reach the relevant mine floors (50+ for Solar, 80+ for Void). Every Essence you pick up before actively farming saves time later.
Unlike many rings, the 铱环 cannot be purchased from the 冒险家公会 or any NPC. You must craft it yourself at 战斗等级 9. Don't waste time checking shop inventories — focus on the skill grind and material collection.

Gil at the 冒险家公会 gives unique rewards for Monster Eradication Goals. Killing 200 Bats gives the 盗贼戒指 (monsters drop double loot). Killing 150 Skeletons gives the Skeleton Mask. Killing 500 Dust Sprites gives the 木炭窑 recipe. These are among the best rewards in the game.
